| Florida Association of Support Coordinators formed in 1994 to advocate for the needs of people with developmental disabilities and Support Coordination issues. FASC has emerged as a strong voice for support coordinators, individuals receiving services, and providers. FASC contracts with Beth Labasky, our Legislative Educator, who works all year advocating for funding, watching for changes in law and statute across State and Federal venues that could have an impact negative or positive on SCs and the people we serve. FASC members participate on planning and development committees involved with services in the State of Florida. FASC representatives meet routinely with APD program office to discuss issues and concerns. Board Members are available to address issues and concerns brought to them from SC’s across the state.
